Customer Rating
Long awaited in the UK and with a big following in the USA, this is Jack Daniel's honey and whiskey liqueur. A mix of regular Old No 7 and a spiced honey liqueur, it's got spice, sweetness, floral undertones and a long smooth finish. Drink over ice, chilled or even in a cup of coffee – it's rather tasty.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey Whiskey Liqueur Reviews

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting Notes by Billy A

Nose: Pungent honey right off the bat – a freshly opened jar of crystallised honey, with a touch of earthiness to it – fudge, biscuits (British ones), floral hints and some allspice.

Palate: Thick and oily texture, with dark caramel (both runny and solid shards), nutmeg and allspice. The flavours remain rich and dark, with sweet milky coffee, dark chocolate and demarara sugar lightened by some candied lemon hints. There's also, as you might expect, a rich and sweet honey undertone beneath it all – lightly pungent and floral, with a real honey flavour.

Finish: Spicy and sweet, with cinnamon heat, runny honey and vanilla fudge.

Comment: Not as sweet or sharp as most honey whiskey liqueurs, with real honey flavour, rich sweetness and gentle spice.

There's vanilla, cinnamon, and... oh, right, honey! The honey here is not shy, but not generic, either, there's a nice floral, herbal complexity to it. Drinks smooth and warm, not overly sweet for 35%, and the honey's here, as is some dialed-back cinnamon and a dash of cocoa in the finish. A late breath revives everything. The best of the American honey-whiskey drinks to date. 89 Points

Delicious. Not a bourbon as only 35% ABV. But it's tasty and easy to drink and is alcoholic! Was drinking Wild Turky before this which packs a punch but nice to have a break

Finally found my drink. Pure pleasure. I drink it at room temperature, neat. But also great with ice. Totally smooth with a beautiful finish.

After 15 years of trying my hand in scotch and failing, I thought to give bourbon a try. I should say that my first experience with Jack Daniel's Honey was very good! It was way smoother than any whiskey I ever had. As soon as I find a bar with a Gentleman Jack, I'll surely take the next step.

Rushed round the store getting groceries for the week and accidentally picked this up instead of jd white rabbit saloon when I got home I realised my mistake and exchanged it for the rabbit.had the honey one from one of my mates who does not like whiskey it tasted horrible and sticky that's the reason I don't like liquor and the fact it's 35% alc and has not much taste apart from artificial honeyed water. If you do not like whiskey buy this liquor sand you will probably like it and give it 5 stars but if you like whiskey try sippin a 45% bourbon or rye whiskey which has something going on like taste and character

I like it. After enjoying a few on the rocks, I picked some fresh mint from the garden and muddled the leaves before adding a generous libation. Now it's my go-to for a warm afternoon drink. IMO, it's best enjoyed outside while listening to birdsong after a round of outdoor chores.

Nothing short of extraordinary. I find this to be one of the best sipping whiskey/ bourbon with honey available.

I could pickup vanilla burnt caramel cherry molasses perhaps some spice, more than just honey but this isn't really flavoured shine it's a blend a bit like mead . If you like mead try this

This is a excellent drink, one for a nice change for me between having single malts. Must be cold or as I have it almost on freezing point on the rocks perfection. A more easy laid back drink. Worth a try!
