Absolutely delicious. As a long-time Cointreau fan I recently was offered a tasting in my local bottle shop, and I was hooked.

An intriguing idea, but difficult to use in cocktails. The high ABV makes it too hot to treat like Cointreau, and the orange, almond and walnut flavours make it too sweet to be used like a straight cognac. Pretty much only useful as a straight glass for an after dinner nightcap.

I enjoy Cointreau, have done for many years, but the Noir is something special. Wonderful way to sip away a long day...
