The Ron Cubay brand was established in 1964 and the rums are made by Cuba Ron S.A., producers of world famous Havana Club. Originally intended for the domestic market, it has only recently (around 2010) begun to be exported. This is the top of their core range, a 10 year old Anejo Superior, which is one to take your time over and not be rushed.

One of my favorite rums when in the islands. Enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or with a little splash of coke. A taste of the islands, you won’t be disappointed.
Excellent
I first tried 7 year old Cubay on holiday In Cuba, Several years ago, so was glad to see the 10 year old appear on the Whisky Exchange. Was very impressed with the 10 year old. It tastes good neat, with ice or with coke. This is definitely up there with my favorite rums.
