The oldest expression from Redbreast so far, this is a combination of malted and unmalted barley matured in a mixture of bourbon barrels and first-fill oloroso casks, resulting in a rich and complex whiskey.Tasting Notes (2)

Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Rather closed and restrained; takes time to unravel. Tightly knit malt, lots of spiciness lurking underneath.
Mint and menthol appear from nowhere, along with a big, rich spiciness, and suddenly you realise the complexity you’re dealing with: cinnamon and clove, apple, mango, biscuit, oats, white pepper, but all well defined and distinct.
Very long lasting, with the spices and fruit all lingering. This needs time to contemplate.
Remarkable aroma spanning fresh tropical fruits, nuts and rich dried fruit.
Soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness with a dusting of pot still spices. Luscious fleshy fruit notes complete the creamy mouth feel.
Lingers, seemingly forever, to oak and pot still spices and then the final bow from the barley – where it all began.

Just buy it. 100% worth the price. The best effort yet from Redbreast. a perfect Irish whiskey.
Best whiskey I have ever tasted. Absolutely beautiful taste and smell.
I hate to do this, because it the price is exorbitant, but this is the best Irish whiskey I have had. There are cheaper alternatives that come close but the complexity in this is something else.
Smooth and complex – a real treat. Definitely worth the money.
Started with the 12 then 15 now onto the 21, all top class but this 21 is definitely a bit special. Best whiskey on the market. Doesn't get any smoother.
