"Definitely an acquired taste. Strong aroma of sour plums and lychee. Notes of sour plum and rotten grass, finish of fresh hay and equine manure." This reviewer hit the nail on the head. It describes it perfectly.
I have to agree with the other reviewer. But he/she was very polite when saying it tasted like equine manure. I would say the smell was sour and foul (like rotten crops) and the taste resembles intestines. Just plain horrible. Not even tiny slips can take away the nauseating feeling. Definitely not for me.
Yes, definitely an acquired taste, but if you're expecting whisky, you should buy Scotch! I agree with the first review about the sour plums and fresh hay, but the grass is not rotten, just cut two or three days ago. And there is definitely an aftermath of paint stripper if too big a mouthful is taken. Tiny sips taken slowly and there is an extraordinary New World here once your palate gets used to it
Definitely an aquired taste. Strong aroma of sour plums and lychee. Notes of sour plum and rotten grass, finish of fresh hay and equine manure.
