A pure pot still Irish whiskey made at the now defunct Tullamore distillery, which closed in 1954 – more than three decades before this museum-worthy whiskey was bottled for the Knappogue Castle label.

Awesome. A delight to be able to enjoy something that tastes this good after 66 years!
I too have a bottle of the 1951 purchased it two years ago I tasted the 12 year and had a strong banana taste that taste like no other Irish-- many Irish have similar taste--- the 12 is unique-- banana isn't my favorite taste--I too am afraid I will be disappointed in the 1952 -- but do like the 12 because of that unique flavor
Fantastic whiskey. One of the best I ever tasted
Had a bottle of 1951 for almost 5 years, can't bring myself to open it. I like the 12yrs so much I don't want to be disappointed. One of these days...
Definitely banana. I get lots of that with the 1951. John
