Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose
Slight but undoubtedly rich with dark fruit; cherry, raisin, fig (with Christmas pudding notes on the nose for those lucky enough to know what that is) along with floral lemongrass and a touch of nutmeg.
Palate
Sweet and creamy on the palate, with butterscotch, honey and peppercorn bringing along sweet Bourbon Cask notes with dried fruit returning through notes of maraschino cherries and a pinch of brown sugar.
Finish
Lingering notes of ginger spices with a faint glimmer of almond to end a complex Irish Whiskey from start to finish.

Smooth but strong whiskey. Great variety of flavours. Looking forward to sampling other brands.
Low in vanilla compared with what you'd expect from bourbon barrels but otherwise the description is accurate and for the money this is a surprisingly complex and extremly enjoyable whiskey. Sweetness level is just right too. 5 stars for a £30 whiskey.
Dry tasting but has a sweet aftertaste. Great body and flavour
This is a fantastic whiskey, smell and taste very typical of pot still whiskies so if you're a fan this will not disappoint. For the price you pay this is a steal!
Good whisky for the money. Nothing special or extraordinary, smooth ant definitely not Irish taste.
