Tasting notes by Billy A
Nose: Sour cream, cinnamon toast and plasticine to start, with rich bready notes underneath – freshly sliced white bloomer and heavy German rye. The yeasty, bready notes grow, accompanied by black-pepper spice and sweet lemon cream.
Palate: Oily in texture and laden with sweet spice off the bat – cinnamon toast, clove and mace. Creaminess builds, with sweet milk chocolate and milky coffee balanced by underlying barrel-char and coffee-ground bitterness.
Finish: Creamy and clean, fading quickly to leave a hint of lemon Fondant Fancy.
Comment: Spicy and complex, with rich creaminess and carefully balanced sweetness.

An excellent Poitin with a great character
As someone who grew up on poitin from the gaeltacht, have been sceptical of legal poitins but this is close to real poitin as i found, this has good taste with a woody barrel after taste and recommend drank neat or is ideal poitin for hot punch/toddy. Would definitely purchase again.
superb! ...subtle potato and wet straw undertones come through when water is added ...smooth and moorish!
Really taken back with the complexity, quality & length on the palate. A real soft, subtle delight & not was I was expecting at all. 1 year after first trying it I was in a position to taste it with the producer. He recommends pairing melon with it! I'm in the drinks industry & have tasted 1,00's of spirits. This is the best quality poitin I have tasted on the market. Well worth the money. Available cheap at Brahms & Liszt, Chatsworth Rd, Hackney.
Lovely agricultural taste to this drink nice sipping spirit.
Like a sweeter, more complex white dog/moonshine. Lush.
