The balance is incredible, and a real testament to the art of blending.

Not my first bottle and definitely not my last. I really like this dram and this time I got a beautiful glass too.

Stunning, alway used to choose single malts but the complex character that this beautiful blend offered was a true joy to be had... now it’s firmly in my top 5 whiskies to enjoy at the end of a long week... Thank you Mr Walker.

On holiday in Spain and the only whisky I could find was a bottle of Green Label. Half way in now and I must admit I’m really enjoying it. Smooth and complex with different levels of taste. The four whiskies do complement each other. At times it is like drinking a single malt but then you get a different kick to remind you that it’s a blend. I’ve not added water as I don’t think it will take well, as it is slightly sweet and the peat is weak, but overall a good whisky.

The first time I tried Johnnie Walker Green Label, it was ok. After a while I drank it alongside Glenlivet 15: Glenlivet first then the Green Label then Glenlivet, so on and so on. Oh boy! The two compliment each other beautifully; the Glenlivet brings out the mild peat from the Green and the Green tames the spiciness of the Glenlivet 15. my favourite tandem!

The star of the square bottles Johnnie Walker (Blue excepted) and offered at fantastic discounted prices from many retailers throughout this summer in the UK. An interesting blend of 4 Diagio 15 year old malts that seem to blend together well. I would love to know the proportions but think their Linkwood is the main contributor. I'm impressed with this one.

Got a bottle with my own motorbike on the label. Nice! It has a subtle smoky taste and I did like it. It's a bit different from other JWs.

When I 1st tasted this whisky, I said it's terrible and left it alone for weeks. Then the 2nd time I had it with a visiting friend and it was an unbelievable surprise to what I remembered. The taste was so great that we almost finished the bottle. I don't know what happened and I can't explain, but for the skepticals my message is, try it again and if you still don't like it, then drink other whisky! ;-)

I want to explore some blends and went for this one. I made a wrong choice. More expensive than some great smooth single malts! Notes of ash tray and petrol. Gutted.

I am a big fan of Johnnie Walker and have tried quite a few of their blends, love Black Double black and gold. However i am baffled by some of the reviews i have read below. This is just awful awful stuff. Nasal burning, Harsh, peppery drink with a nasty aftertaste. This stuff literally burns my mouth. Cheap hooch. There is nothing smooth about it. Hugely disappointed, dreadful stuff.

Delicious dram with great combination of smokiness, sweetness and flavour. In GL you get a mix of well known single malts in Johnnie Walker’s stable such as Caol ila, Talisker, Linkwood and Cragganmore-all at least 15 yo. Plus it is a balanced combination making it very drinkable, if you don’t detest smokiness. Found it under US$40 but I wish I bought a few boxes!!
