This is a collaboration between Grey Goose cellar-master Francois Thibault and Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse. Setting a new benchmark in the super-premium vodka category, this self-proclaimed vodka gastronomique is distilled from toasted French wheat and develops delicate aromas of brioche and fresh bread followed by more intense notes of roasted almonds, coffee and chocolate. Designed as an after-dinner drink, this vodka can be served neat on ice but will be exceptional mixed with freshly brewed coffee for a ‘Grey Goose Dans Le Noir’ cocktail.

Wow. Definitely a great-tasting vodka. Didn't get the smoke that I thought I would get. Definitely could tell the toast aspect though. A lof of chocolate, toffee & coffee. Sipping vodka with great character.
Had this a couple of times while in France, served of a single oversized ice cube. Flavor profile changed with the change in temperature picking up more of the coffee/toffee notes as it got colder. Not sweetened like all the flavored vodkas, rather, uses the toasted wheat and 2% cognac. Love this vodka.
The toasted wheat bring a slight taste of smoke that is very nice, but in no way can this justify the price.
Meh. I can taste the notes imparted by the wheat, but otherwise I've had just as good at less than half the price. Marketing nonsense.
I was looking forward to an undercurrent of smoke or toast. It was an ordinary tasting vodka with no hint of anything whatsoever.
