Product Description
The second-ever single malt whisky released by west London's Bimber distillery has been matured in re-charred American oak casks. The barrels were hand charred by Bimber's own cooper in London, and laid down in 2016, creating a sweet, rich whisky with aromas of orchard fruits, roasted pineapple, honey, nougat and oak, as well as hints of cinnamon and pepper. The palate offers notes of red apples, juicy pears, banana bread, pineapple juice, caramel, butterscotch and vanilla pods, on top of a layer of pepper, ginger and charred oak.
Bimber is based in West London and is one of a number of exciting new English distilleries, releasing its first single malt in 2019.

Tasting Notes
Tasting Notes
Billy Abbott, The Whisky Exchange
Nose
Creamy porridge with milk chocolate shavings, sultanas and brown sugar – the breakfast I wanted as a kid but was never allowed. Pine and freshly sawn oak notes build, with dry cinnamon spiciness following. Sweet candied peel and mint choc chips hide at the back.
Palate
Caramel, toffee and spicy cinnamon lead into a milk-chocolate sauce centre. Creamy sweetness builds along with the oaky spice and apple notes develop – first skin and then toffee-tinged tarte tatin – with sultanas and raisins following. Creamy coffee notes fill in the gaps – Starbucks caramel macchiato, light on the caramel.
Finish
Spicy stewed apple with a handful of sultanas, slowly fading to leave caramel sauce, oaky spice and cocoa.
Comment
Quite a different dram to the first release, but still with a solid vein of fruit running through the centre. This time, the grain is up front, creating a creamy and chocolatey character that complements the gentle fruit and oaky spice.

This is a fabulous Whisky and is now in my 'favourites' list. To say its 3 years old, you could have fooled me, tastes more like a 12 year old.
This is a very impressive whisky, really good for a 3 year old with a fair bit of depth. My only gripe is the price, but I suppose they must have very high overheads as they are based in London.
This is something special and unique for such young liquid. Highly recommended!
This is truly a fantastic bottle of Whisky! One of the best drams I have ever tried, very light and fruity with long finish.
I have tried a bootle of this magic:) and I have to say Its very special and I can just recommed it to you and have a bottle as well at least. If you like the whisky or you are just would like to taste it , you will not loose anything with it. In price wise as well in very good, I think not easy to find so good quality in that price.
