Big, bold and juicy bourbon. It gives you a nice kick and will make you ask for more!
An aroma of paraffin on fire with creamy undertones. Tickles the tongue with cinnamon and hits the throat with liquorice... leaving the lips fully anaesthetised. This is a whisky that wakes you up, that makes you want to dance. Bold in every way, you’ll be dreaming BIG long after. Moreish!
At 130+ proof, it's hot, but not at all in a nasty way. Moreover, a drop of water tones it down to make it dangerously approachable. It's got all the things I've come to love about corn whiskeys (the sweet and fruity notes, with a lovely finish that sticks around for a while), but more of it. I attribute at least part of that to the strength of the bottling, but also to the time in ex-bourbon oak (notes of which also come through very pleasantly). Really nicely done, and when I next get a chance at a full bottle of it, I'm in!
A delight, with a little water for me, to take your time and enjoy the flavours. It is a fantastic addition to the Simply Whisky growing range.
