Té Bheag, pronounced chey-vek, is a blended whisky with a high malt content. Rich with toffee notes and a light smokiness.
Haven't tasted a nicer blend yet.
Very smooth dram first tried it about 30 years ago still ace to base very smooth
I’ve been drinking TeBheag since the early 1990’s having been introduced to it by one of my colleagues at work. Personally, I have never found a better blended whisky. I recommend calling in on the small shop/tasting room in Sleat, on the Isle of Skye, maybe try some of the other blends made, and pick up a bottle and see what you think.
An old favourite used by my family. I received a bottle for my 60th birthday during lockdown from my nursing colleagues and all I can say is it is Fantastic, smooth with a hint of caramel. I'm just about to purchase another bottle it's that good
Immediate brine, smoke and peat on the nose with more subtle hints of coffee and caramel layered below. Taste follows the nose with peat, sea salt and smoke taking charge however add three to four drops of spring water to bring out the chocolate and floral notes. The finish is long and smoky but pleasant. This drinks more like a single malt and for the price, one of the best blended scotch whiskies of ever tried.
