Aker Logo

About Aker

Inspired by the picturesque English countryside and named after its traditional unit of measurement - the acre, which was based on how much land a yoke of oxen could plough in a day - Aker is made with ingredients from two award-winning English producers: Chapel Down and Capreolus.

Chapel Down Logo

Chapel Down

Founded in 2001, Chapel Down is one of England’s leading wine producers, based in Kent and renowned for its award-winning English sparkling wines. Chapel Down has vineyards in Kent’s North Downs, which has a similar terroir to that of Champagne, giving flourishing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Bacchus harvests, as well as vineyards in Sussex and Essex. Aker is made with a refreshing Pinot Noir-based rosé, infused with Chardonnay grape skins to create an indulgent strawberries-and-cream character.

Capreolus

Capreolus

Nestled in the green countryside of the Cotswolds, Capreolus is famous for its breath-taking eaux-de-vie and botanical creations. Founded in 2014 by Barney Wilczak, a love of nature (and the Cotswolds) has turned into a range of artisanal eaux-de-vie that changes with every year and every season. Using raspberries foraged in the Cotswolds, Caprelous has created a wild-fermented eau-de-vie with summer flower and juicy raspberry notes that offer a fruity back-bone to Aker.

  • 30ml Chapel Down Sparkling Bacchus
  • Soda water
  • Fresh strawberries to garnish.

    Kelsi,

AMAZING!! I loved this SO much! On the sweeter side but a terrific warm weather drink. Tried on my first trip to London and brought a bottle back to the states, and I have fallen in love with it since then! It is delicious with a bit og Ginger ale or Fresca, and lemon I am already looking forward to going back to grab a few more bottles.

    Katie,

Tried this at a wine show - really nice alternative to Pimms but it's made from rosé wine so even better!
