    I bought this rum with the intention of wanting a high ester unaged rum, boy did it hit the mark, unfortunately, I was not ready for it, but after having it open for a couple of weeks, unfortunately most the of the bottle being gone at this point, it really opened up and was delicious neat with some ice. For the first 2 weeks all I could smell and also taste was sharpy marker pen with some nice overripe tropical fruit, the marker pen was inescapable, but it calmed after 2 weeks, I will be buying more. Epic in a cocktail and a great sipper with ice.

    By far the best sipper, at this price, I've come across,

    For the price, this is a delicious and stunning Jamaican rum. Plenty of 'body' and SOOOO 'rich'. I have several SBS rums, including the Jamaica STC E that's twice the price of this TECC. To my tastes, the TECC is every bit as enjoyable.
