Product Description

For this Quiet Rebels release, the Nc’Nean team collaborated with Clot de l’Origine, a small regenerative vineyard in southern France, using casks that previously held a sweet, oxidative white wine. These, combined with the distillery’s usual mix of bourbon and STR red wine casks, contribute to notes of brown butter muffins, bright citrus fruit, toasted walnuts, and a delightful savoury quality throughout.

The Quiet Rebels series shines a light on the people behind Nc’Nean – an eco-conscious team on a mission to inspire a new generation of Scotch whisky drinkers. Each autumn, blender Matt Hastings partners with a different team member to create a whisky tailored to their tastes. This time, head of sustainability Amy Stammers is in the spotlight. Stammers aimed to push Nc’Nean’s sustainability focus even further – a challenge, given the distillery’s already top-tier B Corp credentials.
