Valdespino is one of the oldest bodegas in Jerez, owning over 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the region—an exceptional rarity that gives the house control over fruit quality. This stewardship enables Valdespino to produce an outstanding range of VORS (Very Old Rare Sherry) bottlings, all sourced from single vineyards.
This Amontillado Coliseo VORS Sherry solera rests in the Sancristía of the bodegas, where only the oldest and most precious wines are kept. It began its life as a Manzanilla, but after maturing in the solera to an average age of 90 years, it has evolved into a truly exceptional Amontillado Sherry.
Deeply complex and elegant, it offers notes of orange rind, rancio, dark roasted spices, and dried herbs, making this a remarkable sherry to be slowly savoured.
