Honeyed and autumnal tones combine with Islay smoke and charcoal dust. Sherry casks bring in richer fruity notes but still allow the clean, crisp spirit to shine through.
This is a big, bold and peaty dram, delivering the classic balance of flavours Port Askaig has become known for.

Excellent whisky, balance is great with prominent smoke being complimented by dried fruits and a citrusy zing that prevents it from getting to sweet all on a big bold oceanic background, marvels. tried it at the store next to the 15YO and the 19YO, this one crushed them, even my wife loved it so I instantly took a bottle
great depth and flavours ... the best in the range.. i liked it as much as the 30 years old... although the price could be a bit lower..but still the quality of the casks used in the mix should be very high...!! if you are not in a budget highly recommended!!
