Product Description
The first release in the Cu Bocan Creation series, this Highland single malt has been matured in a combination of imperial stout casks from Black Isle Brewery and Bacalhoa Moscatel de Setubal wine casks. It has a complex character, with notes of tobacco, coffee, leather and green herbs, balanced by sweet marmalade, dried fruits and melted butter.

Great whisky, bought as a set with the other Cu Bocan limited release and my word this is good. Exceptional flavours of moscatel and stout with a hint of peat. Well balanced and a brand new array of flavours. Cant wait for the next releases.
Sweet moscatel at the end and you get the stout slightly but you wouldn't notice if you weren't told about it beforehand. Really interesting and unique flavour.
Tried this whisky and it is exceptional. Lots of Moscatel flavours and packs a punch of the stout. Very lightly smoky and it does not interfere with the amazing taste of the dram. Lovely bottle.
