Long JohnBlended Scotch Whisky

Long John’s Dew of Ben Nevis was one of the first single malt brands. It was popularised by Long John himself after he led a mountain rescue team for the Duchess of Buccleuch, which promptly piqued interest in the product from other members of royalty across Europe. The whisky was incredibly popular in France, and for a long time was the world’s best-known single malt brand before the trademark was sold in 1911 to a London wine and spirit merchants. The resulting blended malt is still incredibly popular in France today.
