Pronounced See-Voo-Ha, this is traditionally a low-quality strong alcoholic drink obtained as a result of incomplete distillation and containing a level of fusel and essential oils like brandy and whiskey, which is unusual for a vodka. The name derives from the grey (siwy) colour of the liquid due to the colloid emulsion of residual fusel oil.
