Kanosuke distillery launched in 2018 from the team behind storied shochu producer Komasa Jyozo, known for its lauded, cask-aged Mellowed Kozuru. To create their whiskies, Kanosuke combines different styles of single malt, made using various combinations of its three pot stills and matured in different cask types – including shochu – producing single malts with a complex and refined character.
