Founded in the Rhone Valley in 1818, today Calvet are specialists in Bordeaux wines and one of the biggest names in the industry. In 1868, Calvet diversified into Cognac as well as wine. Nowadays, only vintage bottlings of Calvet Cognac are available, but the company still trades in Cognac under the Commanderie de Richemont brand.
