CazadoresTequila

Created in 1922 in Arandas, Mexico, by Jose Maria Banuelos, after a visionary encounter of a deer amidst his agave fields. The tall and brave animal had such a powerful impact on Don Jose that he decided to honour the beauty of the creature by using it as a symbol for his new and bold tequila. The brand got its name from the Spanish word for hunter - Cazadores.Don Jose's recipe had remained a family secret until 1973 when Don Jose's grandson Felix built the first commercial distillery, on the same spot of land where the stag appeared in front of his grandfather. The company's seven-step process, including double fermentation and distillation, ensures a premium, sustainable and zero waste product that is perfect for consuming on its own or in luxurious craft cocktails.
