Pensador is rooted in the Miahuatlán region of southern Oaxaca, born from founder Ben Schroder’s instant love for mezcal during a 2015 trip to Mexico City. In partnership with maestro mezcalero Atenógenes García and his son Jose, each small-batch release is hand-crafted to capture the unique heritage and character of the land.
