Suze
Vermouths, Aperitifs and Digestifs
Suze is a bitter aperitif that’s been produced in France since 1885. Its creator, Fernand Moureaux, going against the fashion at the time decided that instead of establishing an aperitif on wine, he would use a plant. And he eventually came to a full stop when he discovered the potential behind gentian. The wild gentian is harvested from the mountains of the Jura and Auvergne regions.
