La Venenosa

La Venenosa was founded in 2011 by chef Esteban Morales and acts more as a curator of raicilla, a lesser-known highly artisanal Mexican agave spirit. Working with a number of maestro taberneros (distillers) La Venenosa brings bottles of wild, funky and expressive raicilla to the wider world, all in the name of showcasing Jalisco’s agave heritage.
