Mikkeller
Founded in 2006 by school teacher Mikkel Borg Bjergsø and journalist Kristian Klarup Keller, this Danish brewery looms large on the beer scene. Mikkeller started out drawing inspiration from American craft brewing and quickly found international renown for its intense and unusual beers. Today it operates plants in Copenhagen, New York, and San Diego.
