Port CharlotteSingle Malt Whisky
Port Charlotte is named after a long-defunct distillery on the island, the remaining buildings of which have been bought by Bruichladdich with a view to producing whisky onsite again at some time in the future.
The first release of Port Charlotte was in 2006, and was known as PC5, a reference to the fact that the spirit, originally distilled in 2001, had reached five years of age. Subsequent releases have followed in this pattern, with PC6 being released in 2007, PC7 in 2008 etc.
