Irish Spirits Barrel Top Tasting

There has been a revolution in distilling across Ireland. For the best part of a century whiskey making on the island was dominated by two big, and brilliant, producers: Bushmills in Northern Ireland and the Midleton distillery in County Cork. We are now seeing a new generation of distillers coming through with their own style across both whiskey and other spirits categories.

This tasting is a chance to discover both the traditional and the modern side by side and just in time for St Patrick’s Day.

The lineup will be confirmed as we get details but will feature the latest release from Redbreast, alongside more whiskeys from Bushmills and Drumshanbo as well as gins and vodkas from Boatyard. Billy Abbott will also be pouring a range of our own exclusives.

These barrel top tastings are a more informal way to discover a range of spirits, with our guests getting to walk around and meet the passionate people behind the bottles. Guests at this tasting will get a £5 discount on the night on any purchase in store over £15.

Doors will open at 7:30pm and last pours will be called at 9:15pm. The store will remain open until 9:30pm for a final dram and for our customers to make any purchases.
