With a torrent of big, peppery smoke and rich, peaty fruit, this belter of a dram won World's Best Single Malt Whisky at the World Whisky Awards 2010 and Best No Age Statement Scotch from Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.

About the

Ardbeg is one of the three big-hitting distilleries on Islay's southern coast, known for its rich, peaty drams. Founded in 1815, the same year as nearby Laphroaig, Ardbeg is best known for its 10 Year Old, one of the most highly regarded entry-level single malts around. Recent years have seen a number of new releases, with plenty of cask-maturation experiments, all of which have helped enhance Ardbeg's cult status among its fanbase.
