For this expression, The Glenlivet’s master distiller Alan Winchester worked with both first- and second-fill American oak casks as well as the characteristic sherry casks, creating a wonderful combination of flavourful spice, nutmeg and cloves, orange, stewed apple, honey and malt notes. The result is a whisky whose complexity and boldness is complemented perfectly by its fine balance, and with an elegance imbued on it by a long and considered maturation.
