This exclusive rum was distilled by Dr Kit Carruthers, founder of Ninefold distillery, and matured for three years in a single Woodford Reserve bourbon cask. The result is a rum that carefully balances the influence of the wood against a flavoursome and lightly funky character.

      Green banana, salted caramel, notes of red apple, salted liquorice, green chilli spice.

      Beautiful round silky texture with brown sugar and butter roasted pineapple, toffee apple and a hint of pear and cinnamon on the finish.

Nestled in the quiet, rolling hills of Dormont Home Farm in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, Ninefold distillery is producing flavour-forward rums that stand out from its rural surroundings. At the beginning of 2018 work began, converting two old cattle byres – previously used for milking dairy cows – into a still house, complete with a handmade copper hybrid pot still, solar panels to provide electricity for the distillery, and a warehouse for storing casks. Distilling started in spring 2019 and since then Ninefold has been creating bold, vibrant rums that are sure to delight.
