Good bourbon in the 12 yr. version but - it will soon be made up with bourbons as young as 8 years. The 12 years old has been dropped from the front label, and is now in normal font on the back label, soon to disappear into that NAS wonderland. Doubt they will drop the price to reflect the downgrade of content, however. The Henry McKenna 10 yr. Single Barrel Bonded is now the flagship for Heaven Hill, for my 2-cents worth. 4 stars for the 12 year. Won't buy the NAS version.

Delicious, smooth and dangerously drinkable. Fantastic value for money, and better than a lot of more expensive Bourbons.

Tried this on a night out and bought a bottle the next day! Delicious and potent and definitely not for gulping down. Oak and caramel flavour and just sweet enough without being fruity to be a perfect balance. Put it on your Chrimbo list!

Nice mouth feel. Figs, spice. This is very nice but I think I can find the same profile but better in a good Armagnac or dark rum so I won''t be returning to this.

Good value for money if you''re a fan of bourbon. One of the more potent options in this range, woodier than your Blanton''s or Eagle Rare. I always have a bottle at home. Great for sipping and holds up well in cocktails.

First experienced this in a Smokehouse in San Francisco. Only previous whiskey experiences consisted of Jack Daniels so didn''t know what to expect. Other reviews suggest very spicy and fiery but I found it very smooth and mellow. Would highly recommend (and goes great with pulled pork)

I have just purchased this and Rare Eagle. I love this with a little ginger cordial over a big chunk of ice! Very sippable.....trying the Rare Eagle tonight!

Great Drink, Full Of The Great Bourbon Taste That We All Crave As Whiskey Men!

Very nice Bourbon - got this and Four Roses Single Barrel. While the latter has more character, this clearly wins on value.

Beautiful stuff this. A great first move into bourbon if you're mainly into your Scotch. Truly beautiful for nosing... loads of sweetness, cake icing, vanilla, polished new leather, wood, Chantilly cream etc... Just epic really. Warming finish. For thirty odd quid its definitely one to have on the shelf

I'm now going on my third bottle of Elijah since my first encounter. I've been hunting for a superior whiskey and will pay as much as twice what Elijah will cost and can't find anything that compares.

Bought this from TWE a couple of weeks back and it's the best bourbon I've had by some distance. Nose - Dried fruit and cola Taste - Rich dark chocolate, butter and oak Finish - Mild spice & warmth Absolutely superb!

If you enjoy the 12 year old Elijah Craig, you must buy the 18 year old bourbon whiskey. This is superior! A bit smokier in taste, and is smooth to the taste.

A fantastic Bourbon and probably my favourite in and around this price range. I'm a novice when it comes to describing this fine liquor but I will say it has a beautiful nose, great taste and a smooth finish that belies it's strength. Got this for Chrimbo along with a Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban and Elijah wins hands down but maybe that's down to my preference for Bourbon over scotch.

Fantastic value for money. Great bourbon.

In my opinion one of the best bourbons for it's price range and certainly a must have on those cold lonely winter nights. It has such a nice matured oak taste with hints of spices and caramel and is quite sharp on the palate that reminds you that you're drinking a classic whiskey. Will certainly be buying again.
