Customer Rating

Rebel Yell is made at the Heaven Hill distillery in Kentucky. Immortalised by Billy Idol in the 1980s, Rebel Yell is a classic bourbon, deservedly famous for its quality as well as its rock-star associations. Big and bold with notes of honey, butter and a touch of spice on the finish.

Ordered a bottle for my Father. His favourite whiskey. Not as easy to find in the off licence as it was 20yrs ago. Have ordered Rebel Yell from you before and will again. Very nice neat with ice.

It's a decent bourbon. Fairly mild but nice and drinkable. Plus, Billy Idol's song is named after this whiskey. Keith Richards always drank Rebel Yell. One night Richards and Idol were sharing a bottle and Idol thought that Rebel Yell would be a cool song title.

A nice good value bourbon - both its strength and weakness are that it is (relatively) mild.

I've had a bottle of Rebel Yell since 1979 that my brother brought me from Tennessee.I have been saving it for special occasions as you can't buy it here in California.I finally opened it for my 53rd birthday after sitting in my cupboard for 32 years. It ages very well and was so smooth! I know that most of you won't keep your whiskey sitting around that long but if you have a bottle thats a few years old then you are in for a treat!

Ive been drinking this brand since the 80's, i find it mellow and smooth, Jack and jim are rough by comparison, Its getting hard to get hold of. My son ships some to me from Canada when he can get it. i still have 1 bottle left for a special occasion which has my name printed on the neck label. I am currently drinking 2 bottles of rebel reserve. Same Taste, still smooth but stronger at 45.3% with a warm afterglow in your mouth and throat

For some reason,it's our sons favourite drink (when we can get hold of it)While holidaying in U.S. a fellow drinker made the comment "it's better than Jim,but not as good as Jack" that for me,just about sums it up.
