70 Year Old Generations Crystal Decanter
- Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- Gordon & MacPhail
After 2010's 1938 Mortlach, the second of Gordon & Macphail's 'Generations' series has arrived - a 1940 Glenlivet which, like the Mortlach, has been bottled at 70 years old, making it the joint-oldest whisky ever released. Packaged in the same beautiful teardrop crystal decanter, this is one of the whisky events of the year.

I have this bottle along with the gen 1 (20cl). I haven't opened either of them yet but out of all the bottles I have ever seen this is by far the coolest bottling ever.
Fabulous package design.
It tastes like a summers day!
I could only ever dream of ever tasting this beauty. I wonder if the taste would be so elegant, pristine and so full of character as the presentation.
