Very harsh taste – not smooth at all. I didn't get any of the floral or citrus notes that were mentioned. It was not what I expected for cognac.

Always reliable. As smooth as a Morrisey song. Fantastic stuff.

After buying a bottle and tasting I am surprised at the reviews. They must have bought a different different bottle to myself. The flavour taste is sharper than a razor, smooth as sandpaper. I am amazed at the reviews.

A lovely cognac at a good price. Ideal for a champagne cocktail such a perfect treat!

It's like an old friend; warm, comforting, and welcomed. There may be better cognacs but I think not. The cork releases the wonderful aroma. A little Courvoisier in my morning coffee with cream and sugar; it adds so much.

Quite harsh, a burning sensation. Albeit, not hard to swallow, the burning lingers, but so do the flavours.

Est allors...? 1l VS, great taste, pure and no ice! Straight from 'La Charente, Jarnac' taste like the region, warm, friendly, upright and correct price.. Vive La Repuplique!

It's so disappointing so bad and pointless , it's like cheap whiskey but smoother.

The Grapes taste you cant miss it ,its the strong cognac from all four kings of Cognac's, it reminds me of a dry red wine little bit after taste,on the ice crushed or in cocktals mix, otherwise down it with water like the old ways.not far from whisky?! maybe whisky lovers will love this fine VS.

the 12 year old is much better but overall courvoisier is a master's drink. A certain connaissance is required to fully appreciate this drink. Not top of the range but like a toyota it doesnt hammer your pockets but you can easily afford it and you can rely on it to take where you want to go

Good drink. Great taste and smooth. Anytime for one.

Great Cognac to have around the house for those cold, rainy, windy nights...or if you want to have a good cognac that does not break the bank. Smooth, tasty, not the best cognac around (duh) but pretty darn good for the money
