Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire has been eagerly anticipated ever since its 2014 US release. Combining the legendary No.7 with a fiery cinnamon liqueur, this is sweet and spicy with notes of vanilla. Best enjoyed on its own, slightly chilled.

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire Reviews

Tasting Notes

  • Tasting Notes by Billy A

Nose: Cinnamon fireballs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Cinnamon is the focus and not much else makes its way through the spicy onslaught.

Palate: Sweet, spicy and alarmingly drinkable – much less fiery than those nose suggests. It has a big hit of cinnamon, a pleasant heat and lots of flavour, but doesn't take the fire too far. It's thick and oily in texture, with brown sugar and butter underneath the cinnamon and spice.

Finish: Cinnamon biscuits, more cereal and a hint of barrel char to balance out the sweetness.

Comment: While not wanting to destroy my whisky-connoisseur reputation any more than I already have, this is my favourite of the cinnamon whiskeys on the market. It's got a concentrated cinnamon core but doesn't go too far in terms of heat, while also having a rich, rounded and sweet background for when the heat fades.

Wow! What a brilliant drink. A real spicy smack of cinnamon. Drink on its own or with ginger beer.

Well-balanced cinnamon treat, ideally consumed after a copious meal. I always make sure to have a bottle of this stuff in my liquor cabinet nowadays ;)

You could easily sip your way through half a bottle of this. It tastes like the Daredevil gobstoppers we had as kids, only sweeter! It's a dessert. It's a winter warmer. It's something to share and impress people with. Doesn't require a mixer or ice. Cinnamon and spice perfection.

I am a single malt person, but tried this gorgeous blend of cinnamon and whiskey if only to appease a cordial bartender. What a lovely "sorbet" between my Singleton Duftown and my Laphroaig 10. The heat is perfect and will be a lot of fun to serve in order to include guests sitting around watching the rest of us drinking the serious stuff from our nosing glasses. Do yourself a favor, take off the snob attitude, have a little sip and remember that even the best dramas are enriched by a little comic relief.

Found it too sweet and sugary , unless you have a sweet tooth prefer the original.

The JD Honey is the better one by far. The Cinnamon Fire JD reminds me of the 'aftershock' drinks we used to buy as youngsters. Its not a bad liqueur but go for the honey every time.

I absolutely love this stuff - the smell, the taste, the warmth and the aftertaste. It's beautiful. I didn't think JD could get any better, til this came along. In fact, recently I've been choosing to drink this over the Original. Bring on the Fire!!! ??????

This is almost too nice. Be aware as it is 35%. Tastes like Ferrara Pan atomic fireblast which used to be available in most corner shops. Very drinkable, and would definitely recommend to someone who loves cinnamon.

Got this as an early Christmas gift. Excellent, deliciously soft at first with a peppery sharpness, not hanging in the mouth, longing for the next sip.

I agree with most here, the JD honey is the pick of the liqueur's and if you're dead keen on cinnamon I'm sure you'll love it but it's way off my pallette to enjoy. It's not bad it's just not my drink.

Gross. Far too sugary for my liking. Fireball is very sweet as well, but pulls of the concept much better. Stick to the original.

Just like Fireball, only missing something. It's good, but not the best. I agree it's not got the wow factor like the honey does

Love cinnamon and love this. However as I'm not a fan of the original I understand why the die hard JD fans are not fussed.
