Exceptional on two points ( At least two), this whiskey earns full marks in my book. First, for the quality of the bourbon and then for the price that should fit any budget. This bottle could easily wear an $80 price tag but graciously doesn't. This is a game changer in the subject of "Top Shelf" whiskeys. Eagle Rare could easily knock more recognized whiskeys off their lofty perches and in my humble opinion, should!

One of the bests I've experienced ( competing with my other favourite bourbon Four Roses Single Barrel 50%). Perhaps because is a 10yo, it has a deep, tasty and consistent flavour. My bottle has yet number 10 on the bottleneck.

Wood. Wood and Wood. but what a great quality! Do not expect a mellow and sweet bourbon in Eagle Rare but a more ''Mature'' sip: dry and layers of vanilla, fresh wood and long lasting bite coming from the rye. A true winner!

Eagle Rare 10 costs around $30 in my state and is the only bourbon ever to win 5 double gold awards at the prestigious and well-known San Francisco world spirit competition as well as 4 single gold awards. I have tried dozens of bourbons over the years and this without a doubt is the best one in the $30 and under category and can honestly go head-to-head with bourbons that literally cost twice as much!! One of the best at any price and without a doubt the best at $30 a bottle!!

a particularly enjoyable bourbon, the sweetness builds on the palate until you expect it to overwhelm then suddenly dry spicy notes cut it away to reveal a delicate liqourice with strong oaky and spicy tang. wonderful stuff. too nice

The best smelling bourbon I've tried yet. It's a toss up between this and Woodford as my usual drink.

Very good bourbon. Fantastic price! My only dislike is that it is not discernible, why which I mean it is complex and deep but I can''t pull out an interesting flavour. Will buy again though.

Eagle Rare 10 is almost a watermark bourbon for me. At an attractive price it captures a range of flavours, has a complexity and depth befitting its age, holds up well in cocktails, and never gets tiresome. Truly a phenomenal drink.

Excellent whiskey for the money and our go to one at our house for both sipping and mixing -- although it probably mixes slightly better than it sips. Certainly better than most others at that or (even double) that price point. Highly recommended.

One of the best price performance bourbons on the market. I agree that it outperformed the 17 year old version. Hands down one of my personal favorites.

A really great bourbon we started drink in the states, rich, smooth and mellow. Shame it's not $30, but it's still excellent value and another great bourbon from Buffalo Trace.
