Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky Reviews
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Sweeter and fruitier than the Coffey Malt, this is has oodles of sweet spice, mango and papaya aromas, candied orange peel and coconut.
Palate: Toffee popcorn, with more of that heady citrus and tropical fruit. Quite a mouthful.
Finish: Not especially long lasting; rich oak and marmalade notes dominate.

Top of the line. Superb whisky. I'm a regular now.
Stunning! Really something else!
Outstanding- Blew me away
Having been a big fan of the top end Yamazaki and Hibiki, this came recommended and did not disappoint. Its delicious
Very nice. Simpler than many whiskeys, but that can be refreshing. (Complexity is such an obsession these days.) Seems halfway between a Highland Scotch and an excellent Irish whiskey. I like it.
Started out as a practical joke, ended up as one of my favorite liquors true story, my coffey grain whisky.
One of my favorite discoveries!
I bought this after trying in a London whisky bar. This bottle though always leaves me confused. To my nose and tastebuds there's a real raw alcohol element to it unlike any premium whisky I've tried to date. I'm certain this isn't reflective of this whisky's usual form.
Incredibly smooth and flavorful. Simply amazing!
Had the Coffey malt, really enjoyed it, but the Coffey grain is one of the best whiskies I have ever tasted fantasticly smooth I will certainly buy some more,so different from my normal favourites
Good, smooth velvety taste. Hints of little spice, great finish. Not a lot of after, abrupt end.
Very smooth and clean, not smokey and excellent choice for sipping.
This is an excellent product - its really a good smash and we loved it. I'm not great at providing 'tasting notes' so all I can say it - amamzing!
Just great. One of two I bought, having sampled everything At Whisky Live, and only just opened. Lively sweet and spicy nose, translating onto the palate with sweet wood ,cinnamon, orange and lime marmalade. Very entertaining and engaging whisky with an undertone of Americana! That's what The Japanese do....remind me of other whiskies! Clever b******. They tend to better the original, be it musical, motorised, or dram-atised!
