This expression of Dad's Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey is made from a mashbill of 80% rye, 15% malted barley and 5% malted rye. Aged for six months in charred, new oak quarter casks, it is then finished for three months in casks which used to hold Vya Sweet Vermouth, adding a fruitiness to the classic spicy rye whiskey.
