Casamigos Anejo Tequila Reviews
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Rich, with refreshing black-pepper hit. There’s some perky spiciness in there, plus sweet vanilla and custard notes from the barrel.
Palate: Nice agave savouriness, balanced by creamy notes from the oak, enlivened by black pepper. Still fresh and vibrant.
Finish: Good balance between the creamy oak and fresh pepperiness. Elegant.

Best Anejo I've tried yet! Wife and I really like this in a honey lemon margarita: .75 orange blossom honey .75 fresh lemon juice .5 grand Marnier 2 Anejo Pinch of salt Warm the honey, add the other liquids - stir to dissolve honey. Add ice, shake well and serve!
I bought this for my wife's birthday and we both loved it!! Will definitely buy again ??
This is a spectacularly good tequila for the money. Shockingly so, when you consider the usual quality of celebrity products. I am a big fan of quality sipping tequilas and have not had anything this good for under ?100. They've nailed it - balanced, super tasty like agave cognac with just the right amount of oak from the ageing. Tried it by accident when I was in Tokyo - ordering what I thought was a brandy - and I had to order a bottle when I got back to London to confirm it was as good as I thought it was. Amazing with a cigar...
