Long Mynd Honey Mead / The London Honey Co
Product Description

Long Mynd Honey Mead is made by The London Honey Co with Shropshire Ling heather honey, Kentish apples and British apple brandy (similar to Calvados). Best served chilled as an aperitif, though as with many apple-flavoured drinks, works exceptionally well with roast pork, too.

Alot of mead's I've come across are very sweet and hard to imbibe in anything but small quantities, this is much lighter on the palate but is exactly what I would hope for in a mead - a wine texture with all those wonderful flavour notes honey provides (without sickly sweetness). I could drink this as a table wine, no problem. It's the best mead I've ever had.
