I have been trying for 10 yrs now to remember the name of the best 3 fingers of scotch I ever drank. Finally I discover it to find I can no longer get it or afford it if I do come across. Truly disappointed.

We received a bottle as a gift about 20 yrs ago. We enjoyed it so much, my husband was able to find 4 more to keep. Friends want to share it with us on our 50 yr anniversary in 3 yrs. Maybe not.

I have a 70cl bottle of this controversial drink, not seen what this size bottle costs but am likely to open it soon after having it staring @ me for some years.

I bought a case of this in the early 90's for 10 marks a bottle. I liked it so much that we drank the lot, I wish I had kept a bottle back.

I managed to buy a case of ltr bottles in 1998 for 50 Marks and sadly have only 1 left as gave some away and drank the rest, what a sin

Why would they stop making such a great whiskey?! Other than economic reasons - make it, then stop - drive the price up then bring it back 10 years later. If you don't like it - let me know.

About 16 years ago i bought one bottle of Loch Dhu and one miniature bottle for less than 10 £ from a shop near Lochness lake. There were tens of botles in a heap in the center of a local spirit shop. I opened the miniature and i thought it tasted great. I kept the big bottle for later but now i think is beter to keep it unopened.. George, Athens Greece

Bought a bottle 6 years ago, opened it this weekend for my 50th birthday. Pour into a small snifter over 2 cubes of ice (it's an American thing) and the flavors open...caramel, vanilla, and smoke. Truly heaven-sent! Real whiskey for real men!

This was a great single malt. And those that would give it a bad review are reds eaters.

I can't believe people like this particular whiskey? This has to be one of the worst single malts I ever struggled through.

Used to love drinking this hen it was in production(and relatively cheap). Now my last unopened and boxed bottle will wait until it gets to a £1000, then I'll drink it.(or leave it to my son if I die first)

This stuff tastes great I have drank a couple of bottles in the past when it was a tenner. It's a shame it's no longer produced.
