Came across this beauty in Kilkenny, smooth perfection.
Received a bottle for a birthday celebration: it is lovely from the nose right down to wishing you had another sip.
I think this whiskey has a vanilla butterscotch whiff on the nose, which I love. I also think it is very smooth. Almost too smooth and light for rocks or in a mixed drink. I drink this straight with ease and without effort. Very enjoyable. I give it four stars. Five stars is reserved for the very best of the best. I would characterize this as a delicate, balanced, refined Irish whiskey. And I think I'm right. :)
