Customer Rating
Rampur Distillery was the original name for Radico Khaitan, India's fourth largest spirits company. It has been making whisky for more than half a century, and started producing malted barley for its blends in 1990, but only launched its first single malt for export in 2016. This is a creamy and malty whisky with notes of vanilla, apricot and apple.

One of my favourite whisky to drink on a chilled Friday night in. Nothing too exciting nor too boring. Full of fruity favour that makes it so smooth to drink.

Wow, what a fruity beauty!! Totally different to any other malts I've ever tried. The perfect companion to a spicy lamb curry or just to enjoy by itself. Love it!

First thing me I've tried Indian whisky. Pretty good - smooth, vanilla and almond hints. Will buy again as this is a classy whisky.

Amazing whisky. Beats a lot of other fine Scottish and Japanese single malts.

I quite like the richness of the fruity tones. The complete lack of peat with more sweet flavours is new experience to me. Maybe it's the batch, but I did not get to the toffee indicated in the tasting notes for the nose. Needed getting used to. The smell of various dies in the box when I opened it was not welcome. Overall, it's a good whisky but will not be my favourite.

Currently a personal favorite, one has to close one's eyes in concentration as the brain whites-out in shock, trying to sort out all the complexity of the flavour.

The nose on this dram is incredible. Sandalwood and Lychee! Very smooth, with honey and oak finish. I am reliably informed there is 20year old whisky in the blend. This is must try whisky.
