Tasting Notes

Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose
The initial nose provides lemon and orange custard backed by freshly produced waffle cone. Shortly after, a rich creaminess emerges with creme brûlée and chocolate custard while a hint of jasmine hides just beneath the surface.
Palate
The first sip confirms the creamy and rich fruit custard notes of the nose, adding an element of rainier cherries. After five minutes, melting Swiss chocolate is revealed with a hint of almond. Extended tastings bring out bananas and cream with Turkish coffee.

I find this to be a nice single malt. Chocolate covered strawberries and cherry on the nose and palate and nice chocolate and coffee tone and mild spiciness from the oak on the finish. Well worth the $60 I paid in 2023. Better than many Scottish or Irish SMs I’ve had and one of the better American single / high malts I’ve had. Worth it to have in one’s collection .
I thought this was a killer whisky; really complex, packed with flavour. Really unique and a very nice bottle.
More a bourbon than a single malt (but not a bourbon either). This would be interesting were it not that it is just a very young, not so interesting, maybe belongs in a cocktail more than having it neat and very, very overpriced so I will definitely not purchase this again.
This is a really interesting single malt. Although I didn’t get banana, I did get a coffee note. Otherwise tastes are as described. I will also say that a little water opens it up very nicely and the neck pour is more aggressive than following drams after the whiskey has had a chance to breathe. I would absolutely recommend.
