I tried it and loved the bottle, but I felt it tasted a bit chemically, to be honest, was quite disappointed in it.

Drinking some right now – love it. Smooth and vibrant with a little kick.

It's a bit or a gimmick in my opinion. The taste is OK but there's better rums in this price bracket.

I'm not normally a fan of drinking whiskeys or rums straight but after getting this as a birthday present I was a bit unsure, after tasting it however it's now my favourite rum, it's so mellow and tastes so nice it's great to have over an ice cube as a night cap or an afternoon treat

Outstanding, I'm knew to spiced rum, but love Black Magic, Kraken Black, Papa . Dead Man's Fingers fit right in there taken over ice with a splash of coke, lovely.

Only yesterday i came back from a week in Devon where i spotted this behind the bar at our local pub in the village where we stayed. I love rum, bought different bottles from all over the World, so decided to try it. Me and my wife got through a whole bottle and a half! It tastes incredible, rich and smooth tasting, could have carried on drinking it if it wasnt for a bill. Will 100% be buying some after we're detoxed ha. Def a 5* rum, and def the best ive drank to date. Try it, you wont be disappointed!

I’m not so Sure anymore... I tasted this rum a year or so back, and was taken away.. so I recently bought a bottle from a shop in Cornwall, and was again ovally excited... and if I’m honest I’m disappointed ...it’s just not as smooth anymore , don’t get me wrong it’s still got all the flavours in there, but now it’s got this raw young spirit taste . I know it’s a small batch rum, but I want the other batch I had a while ago . Sadly I had to buy a bottle of ginger beer

Spotted this Rum on here and decided I would have to try it. Visited St Ives this weekend so stopped off for dinner at the Rum and Crab Shack that produces it and bought a bottle. It's a gorgeous, tasty and extremely drinkable Rum. Definitely worth every penny.

Looking at buying more now the bottle we brought from St Ives on a whim has almost run out. To coin the phrase from a previous review "bloody brilliant indeed".

An excellent small batch rum that puts the mass produced spiced rums to shame. Rich flavour with hints of a very rich Christmas cake with ripe fruit and nut lingering on the tongue. Whist general rule of thumb for the World Rum Awards would be aged rums, this rum would be worthy of the Best In Spiced Category. I would make the comparison between this and a former World Champion Captain Bligh only Dead Mans Fingers is somewhat cheaper.
