I got the raspberry flavoured one and it's awful. It smells and tastes of paint thinner.

Is it me or did I smell the aroma of paint. It could be the nutmeg note that other people find in this but I didn't find the smell unpleasant. I haven't mixed it yet which I hope would make it drinkable but neat I find sickly.im a bit disappointed. Anyone else agree?

I like spiced rum. As a marker of my taste Captain Morgans is far too smooth and vanilla like, and the rough edge of Sailor Jerry's is more my style. This one however is awful. I bought a miniature bottle which I threw down the sink. It tastes very strongly of raisin forward Christmas pudding. The raisin aspect is overpowering and the taste is very artificial. More like a bad tasting liquor than a serious spiced rum. NB consumed neat with no ice

I absolutely loved it! It’s rum but has a definite twist unlike any other, very nice and worth a try
