This whisky has little subtlety, is very young with an immediate finish to the tongue and throat that is thin and overly aggressive. Light on the nose with slight pear drop notes but little else. I bought a bottle five years ago and quite enjoyed it but sadly this recently purchased expression isn't as good.

Tried this after watching a well known online Reviewer somewhere in the Irish sea. Absolutely love this one. Easy to drink, lovely flavour. and reasonably priced for 46%. Always in my cabinet. Great after a glass of red Rioja.

I very genuinely prefer this to a lot of 12-yr-old offerings. It's lively and up-front: no sense of flabbiness or old-age. Tastes differ, but this is my 'house whiskey' and I prefer it to pretty much everything else under £60. YMMV.

As someone who typically prefers a sweet and cake-reminiscent Speyside whisky, this fantastic Islay dram swept my breath away (on stormy rides :p). Wonderfully complex, smooth and creamy, with interwoven tastes of dried plums or apricot and a neither-salty-nor-sweet coastal essence, spun together with a macadamia nut-like aftertaste. I am almost reminded of the top notes and base notes of a well-concocted bottle of perfume. Beautifully long finish as well. Certainly one of my favourites now!

I picked this up for my birthday at my local Morrisons...it is absolutely delicious! A great after taste...
