Laphroaig The 181570cl / 48%
- Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- Distillery Bottling
A single malt created by distillery manager, John Campbell, to honour the master craftsmen who have shaped Laphroaig over the past two centuries. This single malt was first left to rest in first-fill, over-charred ex-bourbon barrels, before being transferred to large, new European oak hogsheads – which have never been used by Laphroaig until now.
The 1815 combines notes of peat smoke, toasted fruits and oiled wood.

The most well-rounded whisky I’ve ever tasted, yet still providing very strong flavours. It has peat, vanilla and cream, with some fruit notes at the end. Simply a work of art.
Terrific! It's the best whisky I’ve ever tasted.
We’ve tried most of the offerings from Islay and this is among the best!
We visited Islay a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to try the “1815” - it is terrific and worth the find.
